Few resources exist for navigating issues in the digital public square from a Christian perspective. This collection of essays lays a theological foundation to converse with a series of pertinent issues in the digital life of our society. Thacker’s work was developed because of a report on the current state of the Digital Public Square and the drafting of a Statement on the Digital Public Square by the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission. This work provides a scholarly look at issues ranging from conspiracy theories, sexual ethics, religious freedom, privacy, hate speech, and more. The Digital Public Square is designed to equip theologians, ethicists, pastors, and lay leaders to cast a distinctly Christian vision for digital engagement and promote the common good throughout our society.
